A friend and I camped there a couple weeks ago and It was so beautiful and peaceful area to relax. We are already planning another trip to float the river to the campground.

We have been going for 5 to 8 days for yearSSS. This place is more like real camping with the amenities being what you bring in your tent or rig - otherwise the camp ground offers you easy access to the bike path, the river, neighboring town and activities. BEAUTIFUL place to simply retreat from a hectic media-run world.

My sister and I have been coming here for around 12 years now. We show up every year for the Historic Skills Fair at the Cataldo Mission. It's a wonderful place and the people are great! Wouldn't dream of staying anywhere else.

Adventure Awaits. Enjoy the Coeur d' Alene Bike trail and the beautiful waterfront.

Conveniently located next to trail of The Coeur d' Alene Bike Trail and 8.1 acres of beautiful riverfront. There is easy access to the water for fishing, kayaking, tubing, or just cooling off. We are located near the Cataldo Misson, Silver Mountain, The Hiawatha Scenic Bike Ride, Historic Wallace, and an hour from Silverwood Theme Park.
We are the only Campground centrally located next to over 70 miles of paved bike trail called Trail of The Coeur d'Alene that leads you through the wonderful scenic view of the Silver Valley. Bike, hike, rollerblade, or just walk during the summer. Keep us in mind next time you plan your vacation or a weekend getaway.

Access to river on a hot day terrific. Stoney bottom good for skipping stones!

Great Access to the Trail of the Coeur d'Alenes We stayed here due to the proximity to the Trail of the Coeur d'Alenes bike trail. It is about midpoint on the trail, which runs right across the entry road to this park. Our site #9 was very long and at the end of the loop, with views of the river. We found the hosts to be quite friendly and didn't mind moving the cones at the entry each time we left or arrived. I think it's just their way of keeping track of who is entering. There is some road noise from the traffic on I-90 nearby, but not enough to be a bother. Also, there is no wifi or reliable data signal. If you want a better data signal, you can access one up by the old mission church that sits on a hill just down the road.

Nice, clean campground We stayed here three nights. The manager was very pleasant. The grounds were clean and well-kept. The camper slabs were cement. The cones weren't a big deal, we were told to just drive up around them and we had a Ford F-250, no problem. There are three huge fire pits. The river is very nice. There is a bathroom trailer with showers and it was clean. This campground is right off the interstate which is convenient, but a little noisy. The bathroom ran out of hand soap and it wasn't refilled. That is the only negative thing I have to say. We would definitely stay here again if we are ever in northern Idaho again.

Absolutely beautiful location along the river - the freeway noise did not bother us at all! No Wi-Fi or OTA but the pads are nice level cement sites. The owners was very nice and rules low key - we would have stayed longer but they were sold out for the fourth of July week. A great value at $35 We camped at Kahnderosa River Campground in a Motorhome.
